Busch joins the Hyperloop Development Program

Busch Vacuum Solutions, a leading manufacturer of vacuum pumps, has joined as a partner of the Hyperloop Development Program. Busch has already supported hyperloop development in the past and will continue to do so, most importantly by providing vacuum technology for hyperloop infrastructure.

Rob Liefting, Sales Manager at Busch Vacuum Solutions, emphasized: "Becoming a partner of the Hyperloop Development Program represents a significant milestone in our hyperloop journey. Since 2019, Busch Vacuum Solutions has already provided a vacuum system for the low-speed test facility of Hardt Hyperloop."

Busch is committed to further contribute with their expertise and equipment, most notably for the European Hyperloop Center (EHC). This is an open innovation center and one of the Hyperloop Development Program’s flagship projects. Recently, the EHC’s new test track of 420 meter in length has been constructed in the Northern Netherlands. Busch’s technology will be pivotal in the tests being executed from spring 2024.

Sascha Lamme, Program Director at the Hyperloop Development Program, adds: “We are excited to welcome Busch Vacuum Solutions as a partner to the Hyperloop Development Program, and look very much forward to involve the company in the project of the European Hyperloop Center.”
